Situated next to Linlithgow Palace, St Michael's Church and Linlithgow Loch, the Burgh Halls has a special place in Scotland's past. This elegant Category A-listed building is steeped in history.  Every room sympathetically positions modern design alongside period features.  The building has contemporary meeting rooms, a stunning roof terrace, an art gallery, café and gardens.

This unique venue offers more than just a meeting space; it's a building with a special place in Scotland's past and a story to tell which will intrigue and delight your guests.  Our contemporary rooms offer flexible space suitable for all types of events including conferences, drinks receptions, meetings and launches and can accommodate up to 200 guests.  Whether you're organising a birthday party or a business meeting it's the perfect setting for any occasion.  We cater for our clients' specific requirements ensuring that each event is unique and unforgettable - whatever you need for your special event, our team of staff are on hand to assist throughout your day.

Provost Lawrie Hall (image below)
Situated on the first floor, the Provost Lawrie Hall overlooks the Kirkgate running up to the Palace.  Three French windows open onto a large terrace overlooking the gardens and St Michael's Kirk.  The largest room in the Burgh Halls, it can comfortably accommodate 152 standing or 150 seated guests.

The Bailie Hardie (image below)
On the second floor the Baillie Hardie Hall has large sash and case windows on three sides and overlooks the Cross Well which dates from 1806.  The room features beautifully restored stone fireplaces with newly commissioned decorative Delft-style tiles from Douglas Watson Studios, Edinburgh.  Baillie Hardie Hall accommodates 129 standing or 120 seated guests.

Education Room
This barrel-vaulted room on the lower ground floor is now a fully equipped meeting room which can accommodate 48 seated guests.
